The Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage dispenser is a cutting-edge system offering a wide range of customizable drink options. With its sleek touchscreen interface, users can select from an extensive menu of Coca-Cola products and mix flavors to create personalized beverages. The machine utilizes innovative cartridge-based technology to deliver precise measurements and maintain consistent quality. It has gained popularity for its ability to provide a unique and interactive beverage experience, offering an array of flavors and combinations beyond traditional options.
My role on the project was mostly under-the-hood, developing the nozzle technology to dispense 64 flavors, plus carbonated water, into the beverage cup. The nozzle also needed to be easy to clean, maintain, and service. Additionally, I worked on panel mounting the exterior facade, manufacturing the drip tray, and matching colors and finishes to the stringent Coca-Cola style guidelines.
