The Peerbridge Cor heart monitor is Class II medical device designed to continuously monitor and record a patient’s heart activity for up to 7 days. The wireless wearable patch adheres to the patient’s chest, collecting and transmitting electrocardiogram (ECG) data in real time. This innovative technology allows healthcare professionals to remotely monitor patients with heart conditions, detect abnormalities, and provide timely interventions. The Peerbridge Cor aims to improve patient care and enable more efficient management of cardiovascular health.
I acted as program manager and lead engineer on this project from concept to 510k submission. With Peerbridge providing the core sensing technology, my team and I developed the device components, flexible electronics and software, overmolding process, the hydrocolloid-enabled adhesive patch, shipper/packaging, instructions for use, recharging and data download unit, and documented the design for Peerbridge’s 510k submission to the FDA.
