I want to help you get some of your time back.

I’m an experienced product design engineer with a focus in the development of medical devices and consumer products. I worked at design consultancies for over 16 years, focusing on all kinds of very challenging projects.. Although I could tell you I like making things that improve people’s lives (which is true), I feel that’s a bit cliche.

I decided to transition to freelance engineering because I know product development is challenging and complicated. Timelines are always tight, teams are always taxed, there are many late nights, and it can be very stressful on a team. I wanted to directly help folks by providing some of my time, so they can get back some of theirs.

I understand the power a multi-disciplinary team can bring to the success of a product. Understanding the needs of the user and advice of experts in strategy, research, human factors, industrial design, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, distribution is critical.	I mostly work remote, allowing me to stay focused and efficient. Using all the tools for virtual collaboration allows me to stay constantly connect. I can also co-locate with your team as necessary. Travel and extended stays can also be accommodated.
I’ve been around the product development cycle a few times. It’s important to know when to forge ahead and when to slow down and assess how to move forward. My expertise lends itself to the full product development cycle.	I have a personal network of colleagues to help build out your team. I can help you find the right people for your project to provide a full team, or enhance your existing one.
